The beautiful and well known bugle call "Taps" by Daniel Butterfield has no official lyrics. However, a union soldier by the name of Horace Lorenzo Trim gave a voice to the mournful melody so that it could be sung as a lullaby. For some random reason - this ol' diddy from my childhood has been a go to for car rides. 🐐 The first time I heard Bill Grogan's Goat was in elementary school and I remember thinking - what kind of dark kids song is this?! Yes, sometimes...I steal my husband's @drpepperpants because they are comfy as heck. Before the heat of the day, baby boy and I sit outside on the front porch to watch the hummingbirds, let the cats bask in the sun and make time for Mama to get drink some coffee...or the occasional delicious DP of course.
